Research can be tedious; we have written a variety of scripts to make finding and reading journal articles easier.
GreaseMonkey scripts
GreaseMonkey is a browser plugin that allows you to tweak the source code of webpages. If you are competent in Javascript, you can write your own scripts; to spare you the effort, we have written a few here.
If you don't already have GreaseMonkey, you can download it for Firefox, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
Note that our scripts are developed and tested in Firefox, so may not work in other browsers.
Our scripts make a range of minor tweaks, such as supressing pop-up windows and dialog boxes, making PDFs occupy the entire screen, and automatically selecting a version of the article to which your institution has access.
